Resignation of Milan President Accepted

(Special to the Daily Press)

Milan, Mich., Nov. 25—Resignation of Harvey Young, village president, was accepted at the regular meeting of the village council Monday night. Mr. Young had tendered his resignation to the village clerk two weeks ago. He was serving his second term of office.

George Wilcox is the president pro tem.

The trustees voted unanimously to rescind a resolution which they passed two weeks ago and which would have allowed the pool room and recently built bowling alleys to be open Sunday from 1:30 to 11 p. m. A petition signed by many townspeople had requested the rescinding of the resolution.
