Copy of a letter from an American Mate impressed by the British.
Agreeably to my promise I herewith send you a list of the American prisoners (I can call them by no other name) now on board his Majesty's ship Severn. I have not been long enough with them to learn the names of the whole, but those who are here mentioned I know to be Americans, and some married men, which you will find annexed to their respective names.

5. Shadrach Crocker, of Barnstable, married.
