Japanese Expedition.-The vessels dispatched upon this important enterprise will have on board specimens of the fruits of science and art in all their departments. We find the following enumerated as among them, viz: A locomotive and ten miles of rail iron, a telegraphic apparatus wire sufficient to lead from the Emperor's palace to one of the principal towns, an apparatus for taking daguerreotypes, a magnificent barge for the Emperor, and some fifty boxes of domestic goods of all kinds and descriptions.
