Daring Robbery.

On Monday or Tuesday evening last, some daring villain entered the house of Nathaniel F. Fosdick, Esq. and took therefrom a portable desk containing about ten thousand dollars, and a number of valuable papers. The desk has since been so found under the stable of Mr. F. The papers all remained, but the money was taken out.

A liberal reward has been offered for detecting the thief; and it is hoped the utmost vigilance will be used, as this is the second instance of the like theft which has been recently committed in this place.
