Populist State Chairman Ayer was
asked to-day if it would be a safe thing
to lay a bet of $50 to $40 that Pritchard
would not be re-elected Senator. His
reply was "No," for what if Pritchard
comes here and pledges himself to vote
for free silver.
What, indeed.

that D. L. Russell has his eye on the
