ROYALTON, April 6th, 1843.

Sirs:—I want you to crow as loud as ever you can, for I think the Whigs are aiming to make one terrible and last effort to get their ends accomplished. The Whigs in these parts have been looking for that 'two dollars a day and roast beef,' until their patriotism has become almost threadbare. Go it feds: Come it Democrats.

Yours, &c.,

B.

[Keep a stiff upper lip, friend B. The coons will get a deserved skimming in August. No wonder those who voted for them in 1840, are losing their patience. Let them hereafter vote for the party under whose auspices they have seen and felt good times. The Democrats make no promises; but one thing is certain: if elected they can make times no worse! Tell your friends, especially the Whigs, to try the Coon Skinner a few months. It is only 25 cents for three months. We send you a prospectus.]
