Governor's salary, 1500l.—Chancellor's, 500l.—Judges of the Supreme Court, 500l.—Members of Congress 24s. per day.—Members of the Council of Appointment, 16s. per day, whilst employed in the recess of the Legislature.
Clerks of the Senate and Assembly, each 30s. per day—State Treasurer was allowed 500l. State Auditor, 400l.—Secretary of the State, as such, 300l. as Secretary to Land Office, 400l. and 1/6, for every 100 words recording the laws, &c.
On Monday, April 9, allowed to the Surveyor General, 400l. per annum; also an extra allowance of 400l.—To General Clinton, while employed in running the line between this state and Pennsylvania, 30s. per day, exclusive of expense.
