An immunization clinic was conducted at the St. Ignatius schools December 16, under the direction of Dr. John Dimon, health officer for public health district 2. Assisting him were Mrs. Harriet Patterson, public health nurse, Kay and Zoe Nelson and Margaret Owen, students at Mission high.
Immunizations were given for diphtheria, tetanus, and whooping cough, and vaccinations were given for smallpox. This date being close to Christmas, the smallpox vaccinations were withheld and will be given in a month. The next immunization date will be announced soon. The total number of students receiving immunization was 260.
