A Faithful Watch Dog—On the night of the recent fire in Flagg's block, a large watch-dog fifteen miles east of this city awoke his master by continued growling. Supposing something wrong about the premises, he got up and went out, but found every thing right, but when about to return to the house, he said to the dog (who had kept close to him,) what is the matter? the dog immediately turned his head in the direction of Worcester, and his master then discovered the fire. After looking at it a few moments he returned to the house and the dog became quiet.
