THE LADIES GARLAND.
A consequence of subscriptions which
are now and then dropping in for the
above work, it is necessary to state, that
the publication of it has been suspended
for more than a year past. It will, per-
haps, be resumed at some future day, up-
on an improved and enlarged scale. In
the meantime, the Editor returns his grate-
ful acknowledgments for the friendly re-
ception given to the work during its brief
career.
A few copies of the 3d volume, (bound,)
and some of the 4th, (in sheets,) for sale
at the office of the Free Press.
