COLUMBUS MAN, WIFE
HURT AS 'CYCLE UPSETS

A Columbus man and his wife were painfully injured Sunday afternoon when they were thrown from their motorcycle as it skidded on a slippery spot on the Columbus rd., 6½ miles south of Marysville.
Thomas Ryan, 39, suffered fractured ribs and his wife, Gladys, 32, who was thrown clear of the cycle, suffered severe lacerations of the head, shoulders and legs.
They were returning to Columbus when the accident happened at 4:45 p. m.
The couple was taken to University hospital in the Jay D. Ferguson ambulance. Highway Patrolman H. G. Ramsay investigated the accident.
