(From the St. Louis Republican, July 8.)
The mayor of Quincy has communicated with Capt. O'Neil, acting chief of police, in regard to Frederick Lieb, son of W. H. Lieb of that town. The boy is five years of age, and has been missing since the 26th of June. A reward of $300 is offered for his recovery or any information that will restore him to his afflicted parents. When last seen, more than a week ago, the child was on the corner of Main and Sixth street, Quincy. It is supposed he has been kidnapped by gypsies or other parties. The most thorough search has been made for him in Quincy without success. His parents hold a respectable position in society. The child is well-built, has a fair complexion, round face, dimple on chin and cheeks, and his hair is curled.
