A Russian on the Warpath in the Wrong Country.
The Russians have the reputation for being heavy drinkers at home and there is one of them living in the Newdale country whom residence in the land of freedom has not cured of a bad habit. On Sunday this former subject of the czar got wildly drunk and armed with a butcher knife became a great menace to that peaceful community (It must have been La Junta whiskey).
The level headed men in that particular Russian colony should put a brake on these heavy drinkers. If they must get drunk and try to kill somebody they should go to the far east and tackle the Japanese. This belligerent Russ was sent to the La Junta jail by Squire Chritton in default of bail.
