Our University.—We are engaged in
printing at this Office, a Catalogue of the
Students, &c. connected with our Univer-
sity, and we are gratified to perceive that
the number of Students now enrolled in the
Collegiate class is greater than has been be-
fore at any time during the last thirteen
years; and that the number of Freshmen
and Sophomores, which is usually regarded
as the best evidence of prosperity, is great-
er than has ever been known since the
foundation of the Institution.

The present number of Students in the
University is one hundred and forty two,
viz: Seniors 19, Juniors 27, Sophomores
39, Freshmen 57. When Governor Swain
took charge of the Institution, about 18
months ago, the whole number of Students
was only 84.—Raleigh Register.
