TRULY FEMININE WISHES.
When the question was put to a large group of women-if they had their choice to be anything they wished in their sex, what would they be?
The desire of the large percentage, after due deliberation, was to be Eve, the first woman.
The reasons advanced were that she, of all women, had no competition. Her husband was never away from home not out at nights. There was no other woman upon whom he might cast an alluring glance, with vampish design or flirtatious intent.
The wish of the minority was to be Mary Magdalene, because, after being allowed to enjoy all the sins of the world, she was forgiven and afterward became a saint, thereby attaining all the joys of Heaven.
So far as mere man is able to discern these are characteristically feminine desires.
