TEACHERS' MEET
SLATED TUESDAY
New Hanover Will Be Well
Represented At Fayetteville Session.

Eleven Wilmington teachers will attend the Southeastern district convention of the North Carolina Education association in Fayetteville tomorrow, Mrs. S. David Polvogt, local unit president, announced last night.

The delegates are Mrs. Polvogt, Miss Mildred Bradford, secretary of the local association, Mrs. E. T. Hinnant, legislative chairman; Mrs. Margaret Davis Winstead, Southeastern District director; Mrs. Ruth Vick Warren, classroom teacher president, and Mrs. Edith Winningham, state classroom teacher treasurer.

Others attending are Miss Maude Weber, Miss Virginia Ward, Miss Virginia Herrin and Miss Edna Fussell.

A meeting of local unit presidents will be held at the Hotel Prince Charles at 8 o'clock tonight. Mrs. Polvogt will speak for the local N. C. E. A. and all other unit presidents will report on the yearly activities of their groups.
Mrs. Winstead will extend greetings to the convention at 10 a. m. tomorrow in the auditorium of Fayetteville high school.
Dr. Ralph McDonald, president of the NCEA will speak on 'North Carolina Education Looks to the Future."
The southeastern district includes thirteen counties, Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, Cumberland, Duplin, Hoke, Jones, New Hanover, Onslow, Pender, Robeson, Sampson and Scotland.
H. M. Boland, superintendent of New Hanover county schools, J. W. Grise, assistant superintendent, and T. T. Hamilton, superintendent of New Hanover high school, have all been presented life memberships in the National Education Association by the teachers of the county.
Miss Bradford was sent as a delegate to the meeting of the NEA in Pittsburgh last summer.
All New Hanover teachers are 100 per cent members of their local, state and national education organizations for the second consecutive year.
