Fully acquainted with the arrangements making in the various states to put in execution the stipulations of the late treaties of peace. Collected by our best informed quidnuncs. to change matters than are readily recollected.

By the treaty of Amiens more places are ceded by Great Britain than she has acquired during the whole war. By that treaty the English were to restore the following conquests made from France, viz. The islands of Tobago, Martinico, and St. Lucia, in the West-Indies. The islands of St. Pierre and Miquelon, near Newfoundland. Pondicherry, &c. in the East Indies. Foul Point on the island of Madagascar. Isles of France, on the coast of Africa:--And Isles of St. Marcou, on the coast of France.

To the Batavian republic, she was to cede Malacca, in the East Indies, with its dependencies. The colony at the Cape of Good Hope. Islands of Amboyna, Banda, and Ternate, in the East Indies. Colonies of Demerara, Essequibo, Berbice, and Surinam; and Island of Curacoa, in the W. Indies.

To Spain she was to cede the island of Minorca, in the Mediterranean Sea.

Of all her conquests she only retains the Spanish island of Trinidad, in the West-Indies; and Trincomalee, Columbo, and all the Dutch settlements in the island of Ceylon, in the East Indies.

She however retains all the ships of war taken during the war, amounting to 86 sail of the line, 2 fifty gun ships, 194 frigates and 234 sloops of war, &c. making in all 570 ships, mounting 15,934 guns.

It is the boast of England, that at the close of the war, none of the powers combined with France, held a foot of her territory.
