Extract of a letter from Alexandria, June 6.

Saturday evening we arrived at Mount-Vernon, where I had the honor of seeing the meeting between the celebrated Mrs. MACAULAY GRAHAM, and our patriotick, disinterested and beloved General WASHINGTON. Two such congenial minds, animated with the genuine refined sentiments of liberty, soon became acquainted with each other.--The General received and welcomed us with all the hospitality and politeness of a country gentleman, distinguished with the amiable affability of a soldier.
