Geneva, Switzerland—The Swiss army, pitifully small, but determined, has been mobilized following a gun-at-the-head demand by German agents that Switzerland turn her reserve stores of foodstuffs and supplies over to Hitler's army. It is believed that the Nazi plunderbund had visions of taking over one of Europe's largest reserve stocks of gold, for many years entrusted to Swiss banks. Most of this gold, however, left Switzerland for Ft. Knox, Kentucky, U. S. A. many months ago.
