Accidentally Shot.—Mr. Samuel Reed, while shooting woodcock in the marsh back of the burying grounds on Hunting Creek, yesterday evening, was accidentally shot in the face by a friend who accompanied him. The two gentlemen had become separated, and the weeds being tall, as the bird was flushed between them, the accident was by no means unaccountable. Mr. Reed received several scattering shot in the face near his eyes, but fortunately his eye balls were not injured, and his wounds are thought to be of a slight character.
