Full Text

PORTSMOUTH, June 18.

We this day present to our readers the most material intelligence that has yet come to hand. The public will suspend their judgment on the (seeming) traitorous conduct of DuMourier, since, if there is truth in his letter to the Convention (vide 1st and 2d pages of this day's Gazette) his denunciation was not dictated by motives which can entitle him to the epithet either of a Cromwell or an Arnold,—Further information from the seats of war may now be speedily expected; when we shall be enabled to gratify an anxious public—earnestly wishing for the success of freedom's arms.
