REFUSED KISS MAN SHOOTS HIMSELF

SAN FRANCISCO, March 22.

After being refused a kiss by Mrs. Joseph Borso, 3028 Buchanan street, to whose head he held a revolver to enforce his request, Alfred Peterson of 1126 Vermont street went to his home and shot himself through the head while the police were searching for him on the complaint of Mrs. Borso.

Peterson died today at the Lane hospital from his wounds. He leaves a wife and two children.

Peterson had become infatuated with Mrs. Borso, and called frequently when her husband was home. He neglected his work and his own family.

He gave no intimation of his affection for Mrs. Borso until yesterday, when he found her home alone. Then he pressed a revolver to her head and demanded that she kiss him. She refused, and in the ensuing struggle he dropped the revolver.

He then hastened to his home and shot himself.
