LONDON, November 7.

Literary Intelligence EXTRAORDINARY.

Speedily will be published the following four new political Tracts, all written by the celebrated JOHN WILKES, Esq;

VINDICATION of her Royal Highness the Princess Dowager of Wales from the indecent and illiberal Invectives of the North Briton, and other Party Writers; dedicated, by Permission, to the Carlton House Juncto.

2. The Danger, Sin, and Folly, of giving the Lie to the Lord's Anointed, proving the same also to be highly indecent and illiberal. A Sermon from the following Text: "Think not Evil of the King, neither speak it even in thy Chamber; for the Birds of the Air shall reveal it, and that which hath Wings shall bear it to his Ear."

N. B. This was written some Years ago, for the Use of the Reverend Doctor Wilson, and preached by him before their Majesties at the Chapel Royal.

3. Les delices de l'Ecosse, "A Tour to Scotland," being a Description of that delightful Country, to-gether with an Account of the Manners and Customs of the brave and ingenious Inhabitants, in which their Character is cleared from the base and virulent As-persions of some late political Writers.

"Detested be national Reflections; they are cruel, unjust, ungenerous, inhumanly, indecent, and illiberal."

Lord CHATHAM

4. The Gratitude of a modern Patriot to his Be-nefactors, exemplified in the Life of the Author; in which it is clearly demonstrated that Honour and Honesty go together, and that to save a Rogue from a Jail is a very imprudent Action.

Ingratum si dixeris, omnia dixeris: "Give a surly Dog a Crust, and he will bite you."
