ROBESON COUNTY.—An intelligent subscriber in Robeson county sending to renew his subscription, says:

"You no doubt have heard much of the strength of Douglas in this county. I tell you from having been in many parts of this county recently, that this talk amounts to nothing. In my opinion the ticket will not receive twenty-five votes in this county; for even some of the very leaders of the Douglas faction are wavering, and regretting their folly."

This is in accordance with the tenor of our information received through other channels.

In fact, the great thing now is to bring out the vote. North Carolina is all right for Breckinridge and Lane. Just bring out the vote and faction and opposition will be nowhere. We appeal to our Democratic friends in all the country precincts. We beg them to recollect that there are too many people who do not take papers; who do not keep up with the times; whose attention is not aroused. Let those who do keep up with the political movements of the day see to informing the judgment, and rousing the energy of those who do not. Recollect that a full vote is a Democratic triumph.—Wilmington Journal.
