Aged Victim Of Kidnaping Died Of Pneumonia

VICTIM DIED OF EXPOSURE:
THREE MEN ARRESTED AS THE KIDNAPERS

HUNTINGTON, W. Va., Nov. 15. (AP)—Held for 10 days by kidnapers, Dr. James I. Seder. died here this morning, and his abductors are held in jail to answer charges of kidnaping and murder.

HUNTINGTON. West Virginia.
Nov. 15, ---Dr. James I. Seder. 79. a kidnap victim held ten days in an abandoned coal mine in what federal authorities said was a futile fifty thousand dollar extortion plot, died of pneumonia here this morning.

Caused By Exposure

Dr. A. K. Kessler. who attended the former state superintendent of the Anti-Saloon League. said that death was undoubtedly caused by exposure during his captivity.

Impanel Special Grand Jury

Prosecutor E. E. Winters Jr. announced he would confer with Judge H. Clay Warth, on the impaneling of a special grand jury to ask murder indictments against three suspects, arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Names of Suspects

The suspects are Arnett A. Booth, aged 46, John Travis, aged 24. and Orville Adkins, also 24-years-old.
