NEW TYPE BURGLAR ALARM IS INSTALLED

A new and exceptionally efficient type of burglar alarm was recently installed at the Red Wing State bank. The new alarm which is known as the Sound Wave Burglar Alarm System, is manufactured by the O. B. McClintock Company, of Minneapolis. The system is so arranged that the slightest noise in the vault at night is caught by sensitive receivers which immediately sound a large gong on the outside of the building. Also, if a cutting torch is applied to the vault door the heat will affect thermostats with which it is equipped, thus sounding the alarm. Past experience with similar alarms has proved that they insure absolute protection against burglars, driving them away instantly.
