A Day of Inspiration

Upon the approach of Memorial Day each year, the ranks of the veterans--the Nation's heroes--are found more depleted.

Father Time is working havoc with their ranks, and only too soon will there be no survivors of that great conflict which for a time severed the nation in twain, and as we dwell upon the glorious deeds and patriotism of those few battle-scarred veterans of the mighty strife who still remain, let us revere; our heroes soon will answer to final taps--and then only the memory of their deeds will remain.

Let Memorial Day serve to further inculcate in our hearts that noble spirit which moved our forefathers to deeds of glorious patriotism, thus saving the nation unto itself.
