FROM FLORIDA.

The latest dates from Florida contain items of intelligence which indicate the probability of a speedy close of the Indian difficulties. A warrior lately captured, says the Tampa Peninsular of the 30th ult., has given information of the locality of Billy Bowlegs, and declares that he would surrender if he could see a white flag. Sam Jones and five others will die before they will consent to leave the country, but the others, being greatly distressed for want of provisions, which have been destroyed, are willing to give up and go where they can enjoy peace again.

In the treaty which will be proffered to Billy Bowlegs and his tribe it is stipulated that the Seminoles shall receive the guardianship of the United States Government; that for twelve months they shall be fed and clothed, and their expenses paid to their new homes in the West, on the Seminole reservation in Kansas, which lies between the Cherokee and Choctaw nations, and which has been held for them some time.

The government is to pay them, immediately on their arrival at their Western home, two hundred and fifty thousand dollars; besides giving them mechanics, farmers and blacksmiths to instruct their children, and $25,000 annually forever. It is possible one hundred thousand dollars or so more may be given to them as a bonus. This, or the exact amount, is not yet determined upon. It is likely that the original proposition of the Government to Billy Bowlegs, of ten thousand dollars may be renewed.
