FALSE IMPRISONMENT
The Basis For an Action For Damages Brought By a Boy.

A $5,000 damage suit was filed Saturday in common pleas court by Attorney John W. Burris of this city. The plaintiff is Fernando Loutzenheiser, a boy who has not yet reached his majority, and the suit is therefore brought in the name of his mother, Ida M. Loutzenheiser. The defendant is Fannie Lyons. It is claimed that on July 27 the defendant swore out a warrant against the boy before Justice Calmelat and had him arrested the following day on the charge of libel. The lad languished in jail awaiting a hearing till August 9 and was then discharged. The plaintiff alleges that the arrest was unlawful and wrongful and was caused with malice in mind of the defendant. On this account the boy demands $5,000 for damages to his reputation and for the annoyance caused him.
