NARROW-GAUGE WAGER.-A wager of $500 has been made that a car-load of ore cannot be taken from the Raymond & Ely dump-pile to the Raymond & Ely mill at Bullionville on or before the 7th of this month; and this principal bet has led to several little side wagers. Although the constructors have been greatly embarrassed in their operations by delay in the arrival of material, they have made wonderful progress, and are now pushing ahead with redoubled energy. If the man betting against the road wins, he will save himself on a very narrow margin.
