By the accident which occurred to the north bound passenger train on the Central railroad at 1:30 p. m, Oct. 19th, several of our citizens were more or less injured. D. I. Wells, Esqr., was cut in one or two places about the head and painfully though not seriously bruised across the left hip and elbow. Paul T. Jones, Esq., was cut in the right hand, and he assures us that although he has been in several railroad smash ups this was the worst he ever saw wherein so little serious damage was done. The accident occurred in the vicinity of Buckner trestle, and was caused by a broken rail.
