Dr. John Lee, Dean of the Graduate School of Wayne University, and Reverend G. Dade, St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church, were elected to the Board of Directors of Goodwill Industries at the annual meeting held Thursday night, April 8, 1954.
They will fill the vacancies created by the deaths of George J. Hopcraft and Grant H. Nablo.
A Smorgasbord dinner was held following the meeting which was attended by 800 people who were invited to tour the Goodwill Industries offices and workshops at 6522 Brush.
Other members of the Board include Robert F. Weber, President; Wilbur M. Brucker, J. D. Adair, John D. Benfield, Frank A. Colombo, John A. Conde, George M. Ellis, William Friedman, Walter W. Fuller, Walter J. Gessell, Herbert B. Hudnut, Gordon W. Kingsbury, Chester J. Morse, Ralph B. Netting, Chester F. Ogden, Matthew C. Patterson, Raymond T. Perring, Dr. E. C. Riseborough, A. H. Sarver, Marquis E. Shattuck, Carlisle M. Smith, and Clarence L. Walk.
