Conservation Land-Use Program

Mississippi's 104,000 4-H Club members, over 40,000 Home Demonstration Club members, thousands of farmers and others cooperating with the Agricultural Extension Service will join in actively observing Conservation Land-Use Emphasis Week, April 6-12, sponsored by the State Association of Soil Conservation District Commissioners. "The purpose of this special Emphasis Week is to call to the attention of all people the actual condition of our land, and to enlist the support of everyone in doing something to improve the condition of our land," Mr. Ashford, Extension leader in soil conservation said.
