Full Text

Gov. E. R. Harper stated that all indications pointed to a large crowd of eastern tourists as well as the same from Denver and other points in Colorado during the season this year.

He stated that heretofore or until the past three years the people considered Idaho Springs claim to curative waters as more or less of a joke but the numbers who had been here during the past two years and seen their beneficial effects had reversed their opinions. He knew lots of people who now are talking of Idaho Springs for its water cures, its healthy climate and who will spend part of the season here and are talking to their friends who have never been here along the same lines. The governor was very optimistic over the success of the Springs.
