Depth of 103 feet sunk in twenty-six days, averaging three feet eleven and one-half inches per day. Ore in the winze in the south works of very superior quality, sunk on the ledge to a considerable depth below the lower level. Present level now being started will yield large amount of excellent ore. Yellow Jacket is one of the most systematically worked claims in the State and will be a good paying mine for many years.
