Broad vs. Narrow-Gauged Men

President Coolidge has reversed the action of Postmaster General New and has requested the issuance of a Woodrow Wilson postage stamp. New had refused the request of Woodrow Wilson's admirers for the issuance of such a stamp. Mr. New has issued statements explaining his course. But the whole matter seems to resolve itself down to a very clear comparison of the superiority of the White House judgment over petty Post-office prejudices. President Calvin isn't narrow-gauged when it comes to honoring the men who have given their lives to the Nation, and he doesn't care what political parties they belong to.
