52,000 POUNDS OF BROOKS COUNTY
HAMS BOUGHT BY FLORIDA CONCERN

Quitman, Ga., March 24.-A remarkable evidence of the growing demand for Brooks county hams was demonstrated today when a traveling man from Jacksonville found, upon his arrival here a letter from a Jacksonville delicatessen concern asking him to see if there was not some possible way for him to get shipped to them 1,000 pounds a week of Brooks county hams, stating they had been unable to get any one in the county to agree to ship, claiming the demand was greater than the supply.
