Forest products are essential in the manufacture and building of a large percentage of America's war materials and equipment, says R. W. Graeber, Extension forester of N. C. State college. He urges that forest fires be controlled as a part of our Fight-for-Freedom. When in the woods, he says, be sure that the match is out before you throw it away; smoke only while stopping in a safe place clear of all inflammable material; never break camp until your fire is out-dead out; and report any fire you discover to the nearest forest ranger or fire warden.
