Full Text

Another Death By Chloroform. Patrick Murphy, a native of Ireland, died in Cherry St. N. Y. immediately after taking Chloroform.— He had taken it once successfully, for an operation, but on taking it a second time, died.— The coroner's jury seemed to doubt, whether he died of the operation or of Chloroform. The only fact, however, at all material, is, that he took Chloroform and died without awakening from its effects. The friends of this new quackery may very safely give a certificate, that this medicine will destroy insensibility to PAIN.— Cin. Chronicle.
