HIS MAJESTY
(By Handsel G. Bell)

If I were czar of the Afro-American populace I would, just now, without a compromise force every black boy to read and digest the career of Henry Christopher.

Christopher was that black Negro blooded king that ruled Haiti and who defeated Napoleon.

Christopher gave the world a clear and vigorous presentation of his own position.

He had a solid, unflinching and downright mulish determination.

He had a far-reaching, rugged, undepressed and unsubdued spirit.

He was born a slave, but died a king.

Christopher was fearless, militant and at one time very wealthy.

He was a man of extraordinary physique and possessed a most striking personality.

All through his career he was a greater soldier, a greater king than any white man ever was.

He had a non-descript family life, no school and no teaching, but he had that I WILL that ultimately controlled his destiny.
