PENNSYLVANIA LEGISLATURE—This body assembled at Harrisburg, Pa., on Monday the 7th inst., and was organized by the election of Speakers, &c., by the respective Houses. Wm. P. Wilcox of McKean co. was elected Speaker of the Senate, and Findley Patterson of Armstrong, Speaker of the House—both democrats, of course, as that party has a large majority in both Houses. Gov. Porter's message was delivered on the 8th. It is spoken of as presenting a very flattering condition of the financial affairs of the State—stating that the interest on the State debt will hereafter be punctually paid.—Aurora.
