Revolution In Nicaragua. The Nicaragua
steamer brings advices from Leon, the
capital of Nicaragua, up to the 19th of June.
It appears that the revolution has been entirely
successful. The late Dictator, Chamorro
with four hundred men, was closely invested
in the plaza of Granada. The besieging force
was reported at two thousand men, including
a company of Americans, numbering forty
rifles. It is believed that the obstinate resistance of Chamorro will lead to a general sack
and massacre upon the taking of the plaza.
