Event Details
The famous Mr. Ward came through York in the Race Week on his journey to visit relations in the North before going beyond sea. He went first to Scarborough, where he was daily crowded with 4 or 500 people for his assistance, and though he stayed but a small time, made many extraordinary cures and great good there; the same at Gisborough where he was born; now daily attended with great numbers, and impatiently expected at York, where it's hoped by many that he will call in his return to London.
