The North Tazewell Senior Woman's Club opened their club year Tuesday night with a meeting at the North Tazewell Methodist Church with the president, Mrs. Bill Peery, presiding.
Other officers are Mrs. J. C. Ireson, Mrs. Steve Sulc, Mrs. C. H. Hayes, Mrs. J. L. Mason, Mrs. C. B. Jessee, Mrs. J. A. Dunaway, Mrs. Kermitt Monk, Mrs L. E. Anderson, Mrs. Rhea Moore.
Mrs. L. E. Anderson was in charge of the program on "Parliamentary Law," assisted by Mrs. Rhea Moore, Mrs. F. B. Thomas and Mrs. C. H. Hayes.
Mrs. Roy Peery gave an interesting resume of the 1961-62 club history.
The club received a gold certificate award from CARE and this was exhibited at the meeting. $20 was voted for the expenses at the District Meeting in Roanoke, and $5 was donated to the Crippled Children's fund
Mrs. F. B. Thomas was named the delegate to the District meeting in Bristol Oct. 9, with Mrs. J. L. Mason as the alternate.
Hostesses for Tuesday's meeting were Mrs. Sulic, Mrs. Phillips and Mrs. Fleming.
