The steamboats are running.
J. J. Stokes farm was put off on account of bad weather until Saturday, December 6.
Miss Rove Oats, of Rankin, has returned home after a pleasant visit to her sister. Mrs. J. J. Stokes.
Charley Lair, of Monticello, was here last week.
Frank Ballanger, dry goods drummer, was here Thursday.
W. N. Stokes was in Monticello Monday,
The firm of Stokes Bros., have dissolved-partnership.
A. L. Stokes is still in the live stock trade. He bought a bunch of hogs of Wm, Pierce at 4 per pound; one cow of B. S. Kinnett, $25; sold a bunch of hogs at $4.
W. N, Stokes sold 100 bu. of corn at his crib for 50c. a bushel.
