Extract of a letter from Middletown, in Connecticut, dated Nov. 20.

The gentlemen named in the following list, were chosen by the Freemen of the state of Connecticut, on the 10th inst. to stand in nomination for Representatives in the Congress of the United States, to be holden at New-York, on the first Wednesday of March next, viz.

Jonathan Sturges, Benjamin Huntington, Jonathan Trumbull, Roger Sherman, Jeremiah Wadsworth, Stephen M. Mitchell, John Chester, James Hillhouse, Erastus Wolcott, Jesse Root, John Treadwell, and Jedediah Strong, Esquires.
