MORE WASHOUTS IN WEST.

Railroads Are Having Trouble Again From High Waters.

El Paso, Texas, Sept. 30. - Heavy rains in the past 36 hours have caused serious damage to railroads in western Texas, New Mexico and northern Mexico. Several washouts are reported on the Santa Fe in New Mexico, the most serious being at Eagle and Las Cruces.

The special of the delegates to the international congress of geographers is water bound near Las Cruces. The Sierra Madre road to Mexico is washed out in several places and the bridge at Kilometer 101 is weakening and is expected to go out. Over an inch of rain fell here, a great rarity for this time of the year.

The Rio Grande is on a big rise. All trains will be delayed from 20 to 30 hours.
