Madison County Fair will feature three nights and one afternoon of racing this year. Races are scheduled for Monday night, August 22, Tuesday night, August 23, Wednesday afternoon, August 24, and Thursday night, August 25.
Post time in the evening is 8:15, and Wednesday afternoon races will start at 2 p. m. Purses this year will total $11,000.
The fair board is looking forward to a fine session on the track this year, with many entries already signed up. Stewart Anderson will be the speed superintendent.
The track is complete with 237,000 watts of flood lighting, parimutuels, electric odds board, a starting gate and a photo-finish camera.
