YOUNG OFF TODAY FOR SIBERIA; BARNHILL RETURNED; DORBANDT HOPPING
NOME, Dec. 21, (AP)—Pilot Young took off this morning for Siberia; the weather is good today. Pilot Barnhill was to fly another ship but for some unknown reason is returning to Fairbanks.
No word has yet been heard from Pilot Joe Crosson who yesterday flew into the West Arctic in search of Eielson and Borland who have been missing for five weeks.
Yesterday Matt Niemenen, Barnhill and Moller left Nome for Fairbanks on the repaired Stinson plane. Dorbandt is returning to Teller from here with a Standard plane and will probably hop for Siberia tomorrow morning.
JOE CROSSON FAILS TO ARRIVE AT NANUK
NOME, Dec. 21, (AP)—Pilot Gillam arrived at North Cape, where the schooner Nanuk is anchored, yesterday afternoon but Pilot Joe Crosson had not arrived at the time the message was sent.
