TRAIN WRECKING REBELS

Seattle, Wash., Jan. 10.-Advices per the steamer Agnapathus concerning the Philippine Islands rebellion report the wrecking by the rebels of a train at San Marcos, near Manila. The rails were loosened for a distance of 20 metres, throwing the engine and four coaches down an embankment. About 100 rebels appeared upon the scene and made prisoners of the trainmen and passengers and took possession of the mails and freight. While the train was being wrecked and plundered, another band of rebels set fire to Calumpit, a nearby town.
